Canadian Association for Research on Work and Health (CARWH)
The Canadian Association for Research on Work and Health (CARWH) is a non-profit association of Canadian researchers. CARWH’s mission is to enhance and promote research on work, health, safety, and well-being in Canada and to advocate for research on how work and work environments can be altered to improve health, safety, and wellness among Canadians.
ACE is a Member of the Canadian Patient Safety Institute (CPSI). The Canadian Patient Safety Institute (CPSI) was established in 2003 as an independent not-for-profit corporation, operating collaboratively with health professionals and organizations, regulatory bodies and governments to build and advance a safer healthcare system for Canadians.
ACE is partnered with CRE-MSD (Centre of Research Excellence for the Prevention of Musculoskeletal Disorders) to assist in the dissemination of research information to ACE members and to provide CRE-MSD contact with the ergonomics community for needs assessment.
Ontario region is partnered with the Institute for Work and Health (IWH) to assist in dissemination of research findings from IWH to ACE members and to assist IWH in establishing research directions in the area of ergonomics.
