The following is from one of our Corporate Members.

Dear Kinesiology / Human Kinetics Colleagues,

My name is Karen Hoodless and I am the current Program Coordinator for the Advanced Ergonomics Studies (ADE) Graduate Certificate Program here at Fanshawe College. (Allison Stephens, our previous coordinator who you are likely familiar with, has retired.)

I would like to ask for your help in promoting our program to your upper level kinesiology and human kinetics students that you teach or oversee. Please direct them to our website and my contact information should they wish to seek additional information.

Could you also please draw their attention to our upcoming open house taking place on Saturday, November 29th from 10 am to 2 pm. I, along with some of our current ADE students, will have a booth that day on the 2nd floor of the Canada Life Innovation Village building, where they can come to speak to us in person, play with some of our data collection tools and exoskeletons, and tour the campus. Interested students are asked to please register their intent to visit through the open house website, although they are welcome to just drop in on their own.

In addition, if you would like me to speak to one of your upper year classes about the ADE program, please contact me at khoodless@fanshawec.ca to arrange a "Zoom" or an in-person visit to your classroom.

Finally, if your university has an upcoming career fair for your kin and HK students, please do not hesitate to contact me about it. I or my Associate Dean may be able to make arrangements to participate.

Any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,

Karen
